The organizer committee of the Second Brazilian Workshop on Semantic
Web and Education (WSWEd'08) would like to thank all the authors who
have submitted their work. Papers submitted to this workshop were
evaluated by a minimum of 3 evaluators following international
standards and a rigorous review process.
We are very pleased to announce the accepted papers submitted to
WSWEd'08. This year we received a large number of submissions, and
selection has been difficult and competitive. Only 30% of the
submitted papers did find a place in the final program as full papers.
Furthermore, other high quality papers that could not enter in the
final program as full papers due to time constraint were accepted as
short papers (posters). Full papers will appear in the workshop
proceedings with up to 10 pages while short papers will not exceed 6
pages in length. Both following the same template as the SBIE
conference proceedings.
For full paper presentations we schedule 15 minutes presentation plus
5 minutes for Q&A. And for short paper presentations we schedule 7
plus 3 minutes for Q&A. In the program of the workshop we also have
invited talks, discussion time and the announcement of the best papers
of the workshop in the last day of the conference.
We invite all participants interested in Semantic Web and related
fields to join us and enjoy high quality papers and friendly
discussions.
